Was wondering how safe is it to travel Nepal with Advacned Parolee Document.
My Status ; H1 B, Came US on Tourist Visa, converted to F1 and than to H1. No F1 or H1 visa stamp but USCIS letter only stating chage of status.
I filed my green card on feb 2011 and few days back I got EAD and A.P combo card.
Can any one plz share me the time frame from finger print till Green Card.
Havent been to Nepal for 7 yrs so was thinking to visit my family asap.
Thank Guys.

AVerage processign time is around 4-5 months from the day USCIS receives the i485 application. So y don't u wait for 2 more months rather than going on AP. returning on AP is safe but not guaranteed.

Avg processing time is 4-5 months? I waited 6 years!!
Actually it depends upon the type of EB. If you are under EB2, I'd go with ark's suggestion. If under EB3, then you might have to use your AP. No experience doing that.

well, the guy who received GC within 45 days of i485 application may come and say like u telling GIG that he should already have got the GC. That's why we go by average processing time.
if you apply i485 once ur PD is available, it doesn't matter whther u r in eb2 or eb3 ,same processing time.
are u sure it took 6 years after ur PD was availalable and after u applied i485?
