comon', what happens in every election - elect some stupids and let them run the country. this is just one example of one dept. look at the public works dept. - do u know the conditions of roads be it small or big? they are supposed to be our lifeline, our arteries but come monsoon, same cycle of destruction repeats-roads fall victim to landslides, swollen rivers etc.

so if we had elected a capable leader (it is very scarce in Nepal), we would not be in this stage today and every wanna be politician take advantage of our 48.6% literacy rate cause they are illiterate too. we are naive and believe in whatever promise they make. unless our people are educated this will go on.

snowfed_river, i can understand your sentiments but we did not elect this government. Yes we had participated in some sort of election but this and the past few governents forment was based on party's will not people's. did not matter who won the election.

P.S Madav Nepal had lost election.

This is the reality of Rural Nepal and city like kathmandu. Now you figure out the difference being a students of such school and from x_zavier, Budhanilkantha and so on. It not only the building but many things are lacking .

We Nepali people do not beleive in donation and going to heven rather than doing HAWANS AND PUJAs.

look beyond rural and valley schools. the entire system of Nepal is not worthy to compare with each other or with anything and so is the education sector. i have met some buda's grads - one had strong vocabs but the other even struggled to utter one complete sentence.

so it depends on one's hard work and desire to ace in smth and also the environment they grew in.

i do not understand ur logic. if people do not elect governments - does Nepal wildlife do?

we are fully responsible for what's happening right now. and whaddaya mean by past few govts.? every govt. we selected in the past 5-6 decades have done nothing to develop the country but develop themselves. people got tired of every single party that existed in Nepal and voted maoists and look what they did. Prachande's video made fun of us and especially naive villagers - he says 1 lakh for them is a fortune. what do u think of this? it is not my sentiment, it is the fact and every sensible nepali know.

Rural areas are abandoning, local resources are not able to mobilize nor government are providing enough funds to run it not only in education sector it is all around is the same. When Maoist were in jungle these school were their shelters.

Yes, we can blame to ourselves and responsible for it directly or indirectly.

Now in my village all youth are out, who ever able to go abroad some of them made fortune, some did not & some came in duffle bag. Who ever did not make it for abroad are looking their fortune in big city like Kathmandu and only those who did not have any desire & will power are loitering as per the parents?

And you, reading it are one of them whether you were from rural village or a big city as Kathmandu. Good for you and me because we are in the same boat but the course of action is different.

Still there are some pople posting in Sajha  that king will spend his money wisely to improve Nepalese lives. I wish their day dream come true atleast something will going to happen after got off from the throne.
