Hi guys, I need some info regarding Pharmacy study in USA. My friend is studying Diploma in Pharmacy (3 year course) in CTEVT nepal. She wants to come to USA for further studies after she completes her D.Pharmacy. So my question is: Can she directly in Pharmacy in USA? The reason I am asking is D.Pharmacy is given by CTEVT, will universities in USA accept transcript from CTEVT to get I.20. Information will be highly appreciated. Thank you

Pharmacy is a 6-year degree. First 2-years, you have to study all the pre-requisite courses that must be done before enrolling to the Pharmacy major and after that you have to go through all those shits - PCAT, interview and so on.....The higher your PCAT score is, chances of getting admission are likely. Tell your friend to get a course lists of a perspective university and tell her to take classes accordingly so that her credits get transferred. It's not a easy job though! I am lost somewhere while doing this major so I am rethinking it...Just make aware of it...bit hurry, time got to go.....will let you know next time....

Thanks drifter for the info. If she wants to come right after her three year completion in Nepal, can she still get a admission for the Pre-requisite courses here in USA? Thank You
