i ve a case pending with uscis.meanwhile within 10 days i m moving.

i went to the website of uscis to change the address,but it says"update ur change of address within 10 days after completion of move".

it means i cant change the address b4 moving?i wanna change address b4 moving so that i dont get mail in old box when i m at new.but if i do after moving,it may take time for updation n letters may be sent in the old box n i may be unware of.

so k hola solution?

UM... I THINK THIS MAY WORK... THAT'S WAT MY DID BEFORE WE MOVED... HE WENT TO THE LOCAL POST OFFICE... AND THEN SAID THAT WE ARE MOVING IN 2 WEEKS AND THEN THEY CHANGED OUR ADDRESS AT THE POST OFFICE AND THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD FORWARD ALL OF OUR NEW LETTERS TO OUR NEW ADDRESS... I HOPE THIS WORKS... TO BE SURE ASK UR LOCAL POST OFFICE STAFF ABOUT IT... AITE PEACE

so informing usps is an option but not flawless

You can change your address online or by visiting USPS office. For online visit: https://moversguide.usps.com/?referral=USPS Youcan specify from what date you want your letters to be forwarded. But I do not think, USPS forwards certain mails such as immigrations, licences, but this is from what I know. In the meantime, change your address online at USCIS website and also call them since you have case pending.

Why dont you change your address for USCIS a week before moving. That way even you move you will get your letter in new address. Dont be too much concerned about "update ur change of address within 10 days after completion of move"! I believe there are thousands of people who never change their address with USCIS if they do not have any case pedning with USCIS.

my friend call to USCIS. They will change your address old into new. not big deal. you should know the phone 1 800 og uscis.

or I think you can ask post office to hold your mails for a certain time and you can go pick them up from there...I would call them to double check though...
