Hey guys !

I just want to give head off about the fact that you guys from USA and Canada can vote for Prashant Tamang. All you need is a phone card. Please dial 011-91-5052525- (two digit prashant's code). Please note the this two-digits code changes every week.

For todays episode, I think the number to dial for voting Prashant would be 011-91-505 2525 04

because Saab has written
Voting Code's - SMS PRASHANT Send to 2525 or,
Dial 19024242525 04 from BSNL n MTNL or
Dial 5052525 04 from Mobile/Airtel Landline.

Remember

011-91-505 2525 04

.

Make sure you vote at the right number. Otherwise ulto palto bhaera arkailai faida hola. We must push him to top 5 for tomorrow. And then lets see what happens.

Hi Guys, I don't think voting through phone card will work. Fom my understanding, from every sms that people send, sony tv gets part of the commission from the sms service provider. If one votes through phone card I don't see how the sony tv gets that benifit. Hence, it should not work. BTW, has anyone tried voting using phone card? please post your experience.

I tried to vote Prashanta just now. I was able to place a call in the above number. It was like I am dialing to someone but nobody is picking up phone for 4 minutes. Then I disconnected the phone.

Can anyone share us how do they respond while voting from mobile or landlines?

Jhapali, theoretically it should work if you purchase a phone card that takes your call through VOIP, which most of the cheap phone cards in market do. They disburst international calls from local lines after decoding VOIP signal in their local receiver. So, for the receiver, it is simply a call originated at some local unit, not an international call. This is one of the reason your call from US/Can to India/Nepal display a local telephone number in their caller id devices. Therefore I believe there are chances that your votes placed following KKhoKKkhai's method should work. Also, the mobile and landline - calling are different from sms, they are simply call counts on the respectives bins of the Indian idol contestant. I am saying this "theoretically", because I am not sure how the phone cards carry over the last 2 digit code for Prashant. If anyone who have placed successful votes using the landlines come here to share his experience, then we do get the right answer.

Anyway, thinking without trying is fine, but insisting on that may be harmful.

Hi Chana, Theoretically it is like making a call to 1-900------ number using phone card. So it is too obvious that it does not work.
As far as your comment "Anyway, thinking without trying is fine, but insisting on that may be harmful." goes, here is what I have to say:
Somebody poos on a plate and tells you "hey Chana, try it it tastes like CHANA TARKARY", I bet you won't go for tasting, will ya?
Just in jest. Take it easy.

I don't think votes from other countries other than some of middle east, UK and India are not counted or simply doesn't reach its destination. Why they say vote this this for this country and this this from that country on the show if they allow all the countries?
How about Web Vote? Does it work?
