i Sajhajanaharu,
I have a very secret question, and I would like to request you to give me some ideas about how I should move ahead. My situation is the following, and I need immediate suggestions:

My would-be husband is coming to the US from Nepal. We are sort of already married. He is coming as an F-1. My current status is also F-1. Both of us do not have the funding from our universities, and we will not be able to pay our tuition fees and carry on our studies together.

Is it, therefore, possible to marry after he comes to the US and change either his or my status as an F-2 (dependent)? Can we do this from within the US and stay here maintaining good status?

The innocent plan is that one of us will be completing the education while the other will be earning some bucks and supporting the partner for study. Could you PLEASE kindly give me, either on or off the list, your most valuable suggestions? I WILL REMAIN TRULY GRATEFUL TO YOU. Thank you in advance for trying to help us out!
With sincere regards,
Manjari.
