You can certainly try that avenue. Once you get married, ask your International Student Coordinator to draft a letter for you. She will initiate the process. She has to take it to the consulate in Singapore. And it is the regular process. Good luck. Let me know if you need further help.

you don't need any legal process for this. here is what you need to do: 1. around november first week, go to international office of your college and tell them that you are going to get married and will be requesting I-20(for her) in near future. 2. on december go to singapur and get married with u r gf at court 3. get married certificate ("MUST") from court 4. request for I-20 at your college (international office): for this you need to submit (a)enough bank balance (US bank preferred) to show that you can support her at US (b)all the information of her (like passport) (c) copy of marrige certificate 5. apply for visa, usually hers I-20 is enough but as a supporting document you could submit (a) your I-20 (b) bank statement (c) yours/hers college transcript (d)marrige certificate (e) your company's offer letter (f) copy of yours and hers income source (g) any certificate/award that she might have and (h)any other document that you might think useful. 6. get visa and welcome back to US 7. email me how it went

1." what do u mean by company offer can u plz make me clear about this.. " I was indicating towards your previous post "I am pretty lucky regarding this matter... I am working for Citi Group." Man you work with Citi Group... that is a big company....send u r copy of offer letter. 2. since u r studying at community college, it might be little less chance of getting visa but trying doesn't harm right so "give a try" or you could easily get admission (as u r already in US) from other non-community college and start from there.
