I think it is quite normal for teens at this age to behave like this. No matter which part of the world you go, it is quite universal that teens mimic styles which are conisdered cool or hip among friends.

Perhaps you should take a moment and go back in time - think about your teenage life.

I am sure these US born Nepali kids will also be making this kind of comment upon seeing their fellow Nepalese mimiking when they have passed their growing up phase.

Lol Rockon Gal that's a surprising thing to hear. I don't really think/see nepali guys trying to act like HISPANICS!!!! And never heard anyone making those kind of Beliefs either. We live in a society (US) where vaious clutures had melt very randomly. Sharing a thing or two from others don't mean you are trying to imitate the whole thing. And this thing is true universally.
