I don't know why so many Nepalese students still run after so called students political organizations. I think any of those unions either from the Congress, Communist, Panches or Maobadis are more running for the benefit of Political parties rather than for the students welfare.

I saw some news in this site as well, someone came from Nepal and talked about Nepal's political situation... I don't understand one thing.... how and why are students being manipulated? Students leaders ko pachhii lagne ko Ghaito ma ghaam kahile lagne??? Not only the uneducated or undereducated but also educated groups of people run after all those stupid leaders.

If you can why don't you guys open a new party and get the country's future in your hands???? When you all understand??? Why you run after Girija or Makune or Thapa or Baburam??? Why? Students should have unions I agree, like here in US as well, but not under any political parties. This is one of the reasons why Student of Nepal cannot get better education in their country especially in the government colleges? I was one of them who studied in one prestigious science college run by government.... all those elections and all those politics.......

I could not stop writing all this today because I saw the politics came from Nepal to US as well. 'Em just curious to know how these chamches of those parties have come here as well to ruin Nepalese students motivation and progress???

Lack of self-respect.The millenium old mind-set that dominates the mainstream thinking of our society.
Either we are poor slave with shut mouth or a ruthless master.
The loss of dignity and the culture to worship to authority with blind eyes and deaf ears.
Our disrespect for rational thinking.Our finger pointing habits rather than taking responsibilities for our misdeeds.
Our ego-filled thinking pattern despite our formal schooling.
Our laziness to look deep into ourselves and our golden past that teaches basic values about living.
Our pre-human rituals to single-mindedly believe that a mere human is bestowed upon divine incarnation.
The deficiency of compassion in our hearts to look through head and not through heart.
Our endorsement to dogmas with blind belief.
Our reluctancy to forgive others.
Our rush to hunt temples to worship stones rather than our calmness to look inside our soul.
Our silence when our identity repeatedly is attacked leaving deeper wounds in our dignity.
What do you expect in a scenario like these if not a parasitic student unions?Corruption?Brutal regime?Revolt?and ignorance.
