निर्माणको यो कुरा भने मलाई मुनासिब लागेन है। मर्दापर्दा छरछिमेकलाई सहयोग नगरे भोली हामीलाई पर्दा के गर्ने ? Nepal and specially Kathmandu is anticipating a big earthquake. I think the risk has downsized after this earthquake in kashmir. But still when anything bigger than 6.5 Richter happens, tens of thousands of people will surely die. At least when we help them now, no matter in small amount, they will turn their back when we suffer. And this is a humanitarian crisis. We should offer what we can.Countrywise and individually as well.

katrina is a different story brother.United States is a rich nation and the $50000 dollars given to them was a face saving IR courtesy, after Srilankan minnows' help were praised so much by US media. That was not needed though.

But Pakistan is a different story. See the death toll. Thats Tens of folds more than that of Katrina's. See the devastation in TV and you will feel that they need every little help. They are poor nationals of a poor nation and our closer friends. And its good that Gyanendra got the buddhi to provide that assistance.

Yeh individual thoughts. Your argument is strong and I appreciate it.
But me thinks that the $50000 dollars donated to Pakistan at the period of their worst natural calamity is worth more than providing the same amount to our poor and needy people. Of course Gyanendra has the obligation to provide relief to the Nepalese people first and he should do that, but it doesn't necessarilty mean that others shouldn't be helped when they are suffering a much larger scale humanitarian crisis. And believe me, such helps will pay off.

Malai chahi Nirman ko bhanda newuser ko kura nai thik laagyo hai. Well, spending 50,000 in Nepal will eventually go to military, and to kill more people. At least, 50,000 sent to Pakistan is saving some lives. We are all human beings, more than we are from Nepal. Humanitarian effort is the greatest effort. malai ta gyane ko kura ekdam thik laagyo. Newuser le bhane jahai, aafno gharma khaane kura kehi nabhaye pani marda-parda chhimeki ko ta sahayog garnai parchha.
