Many people in Kathmandu are having problem opening their hotmail email last few days. It seems MSN messenger is fine but hotmail is not. Just a FYI.

Guys, Best option: Dump hotmail and go for Gmail, really fast and sophisticated. If not follow this: Hotmail problem will go away once u de-install MSN Messenger, it's some hotmail-MSN Messenger integration bug that freezes hotmail. Try de-installing MSN, checking out hotmail and reinstalling latest MSN Messenger and latest windows update. It should be fine. Bramha.

It's possible to get your hotmail by using Outlook Express if you're having problems using the website. Open your Outlook Express TOOLS - ACCOUNTS - ADD - MAIL Enter your Name - then your hotmail email (it should automatically select in the next screen HTTP server service provider as HOTMAIL and assign the incoming server) Then enter your email and password and FINISH and you should be able to receive your hotmail emails onto your OUTLOOK EXPRESS.
