I tried it over last summer and lots lot of pounds.. like about 3o pounds in 4 months. However, it is sickening after a while eating meat everyday... buy a good book on Atkins and learn about vegeterian dishes too to follow Atkins.. I idn't do that so i couldn't keep up with it more than a summer.. I think, Atkins is good for quick result but for a long term health who knows..with all that meat and unsaturated fat that it recommends to take... you might get an heart attack like that the guru.. I think excercising, eating less - eating often rather than eating big meals, and taking good suppliments are much beneficial over then long run.. ....

ok Mr Moneyminded First Thing is ATKINS ROCKS!!! I tried tons of things from regular dieting to enrolling to local gym but nothing worked like Atkins...This might sound like a marketing statement but here is your fellow nepalese telling you the truth. ....This is someone who has followed the diet and saw good results (lost 30 lbs in 3 months).. Basically I would say is when you take carb out your body will tend to give you lots of withdrawl symptoms and you really crave for carbs..best thing to do is Eat vegitables, salads and some fruits Eat your breakfast ALWAYS..during the day.eat every 2-3 hours. (not carbs). Drink lots of water... AND EXERCISE... without exercise you can't get anywhere and it will help during Maintainence phase.. If you need detail information email me at jupiterring@hotmail.com and I can also send you some before and after pictures!! Saw the new beginning in my life Revival!

For Atkins diet, water is must and that too in gallons, for all the protein load will have adverse effect on the kidney, and read somewhere chances of renal and visceral gout is not uncommon. Water, exercise, sound sleep, cheerfull lifestyle, and if possible a balanced diet all works. I suggest try some herbs like Tribullus, Epimedium, Gynostemma, mild arecanut to aid the fat cutting. Beer kills, sadly unavoidable to ease stress. Yes, fresh fruits and juice is key element, No kidding it works.
