what we are created are from "nothing". that small piece of egg, on our mom's ovary holds our future for tommorrow..if we take that egg and break it into small atoms, and futher more break down those atoms to electrons, protons and neutorns, and break down protons and neutrons then you find quarks, and when we look at that quark and look at it we find space -- nothing-ness, and that nothing - ness is us. us and our history is created from nothing....

1. If one were to look at quarks, how is s/he able to find space? What if we look at the leptons, another building blocks of matter? Would one bother looking at the antiquarks? Is the space we see in "quarks" an emptiness? Do quarks and/or leptons actually consist of more fundamental particles? And, is the Standard Model of quantum physics all too misleading?

Let me not even begin talkign about wave particle duality.

2. The concept of zero. Is it the "presence of nothing", "an absence of something", or infact "an absence of everything"?

so lets appoarch ur problem, u mean twice as cold as today, so that is 1/2 as warm tommorrow correct..so that is -16 F..and yes F is measuring heat..and 0 degree means the absence of heat...

plus i want to be scientifically correct, so what i will do here is convert F to Kelvin, for which the formula is (Degree F)+459.67 = kelvin..

Maybe it'll attain you Nirvana in your toilet meditation for they say orgasm is the closest you come to it. Brahman (not to be confused with Brahmaa of the Hindu trinity) is the concept of universal "oneness" that is above all; it is the untimate reality. Brahman is "no thing" since it is the unchanging, infinite, transcendent reality. Our atman, clouded by maya, can not perceive this ultimate reality but atman's true identity is the Brahman itself. In realizing the identity of this atman as Brahman or the union of the atman with Brahman, the individual self has no meaning. This awakening into "self-less"ness is being sunya. Brahman is sunyata.

Buddha did not believe in Brahman as the ultimate reality. Realizing the true nature of samsara as it exists by emptying ourselves of all distorted perceptions of the Absolute is becoming sunya. The state in which original reality of samsara exists with all things devoid of self nature and inherent existence but with a potential to become something perceptible is sunyata.

As for the quantum nature of things, many experimental findings have been carried out that tend to suggest that the fundamental particles lack inherent nature but that they have the potential to exist after a mind interacts to give it its meaning.

Quantum physics gives us stochastic models describing possible states of a particle in the universe (where the particle has a potential for existence with varying probabilities). Of all the possible states, the state which the particle assumes is a direct result of the act of observation (by the mind) without which the particle's potential for manifestation is not possible. What is the particle before we observe it as such? The state where particles have the potential to exist is the Quantum sunyata.

ATMAN does not suffer; ATMAN is not a slaved thing or a material or an entity which subjects SELF to suffering deliberately. Moksha is NOt a goal for ATMAN at all, but for the EGO of a person w human mind and intellect and physical material body.

ATMAN is not your mind, intellect or your EGO. Definitely not your physical body.

The ego currently in its ignorant pursuits belives it is GOD itself. That is the delusion of the people who call themselves a soul.

But in reality, it is NOT mentioned in any Upanishad that ATMAN is under stress from being a resident or a renter of your body while you live on earth as a human or as animal.

ego is the soul concept of judism and for christians. They both are wrong. I disagree. In hinduism, ATMAN is the Life principle and BRAHMAN and ATMAN are the concepts of spiritual consiousness only.

you are ALIVE because you have ATMAN residing within you.
you are dead and your ATMAN leaves you. ATMAN never suffers, but your physical body, mind and intellect takes a blow because of your ignorance based faulty ego only.

It is said in Upanishads that there are two birds on a tree, one is ATMAN and the other is EGO, who pretends to be GOD, but defective and suffers. Hinduism always insisted upon getting rid of egoism. That ATMAN who is an innocent bystander helps the body w all its karmas by being a power supply only. All karmas need power to manifest.

THAT ATMAN is also a PARAMATMAN within the same body s each cell nucleus has the same ATMAN as if in a power box residing within. But does the ATMAN feel trapped inside the nucleus? or can the nucleus function without ATMAN at all?

Does ATMAN ever get sick? NO. If you go to the doctor to get medical treatment for your sickness or undergo surgery, who are you operating on? ATMAN? That is not true.

ATMAN is inoperable. Indestrucible. Immutable. Unchangeable.
Never gets tangled in the web of human bodily karmas.

ATMAN is like a spider in a cobb webbed nest. The spider can mover around well without getting trapped or entangled or killed by the web itself. This analogy is found in Briha U and is so beautiful. That explains that ATMAN is not your body or mind or your head or your butt or nose or cells of all kinds.

ATMAN is BRAHMAN, the mysterious power within all of us.

I am dead w/o my ATMAN. BRAHMAN as in ATMAN keeps me alive. ATMAN has nothing to do w your IQs or your wealth or health or education, etc. ATMAN is there for you, if you do good karmas and take good care fo yourself and others around you in your envt.

Atma insese of scientific view can be accomlished as energy. It can't be created nor destroyed just changes its form. This is what simple language should define atma.
