"A claim posted on an Islamist Web site from a purported militant group Friday said 12 Nepalese nationals have been taken hostage in Iraq. In the statement, the group named the men and said they were captured for cooperating with the United States." Wish we could know that web site and figure out who those nepalis are.

Insurgents in Iraq take 12 Nepali hostages Islamic insurgents in Iraq said Friday that they had kidnapped 12 Nepalis hostages on Thursday, a news agency said. The news was posted on a Islamic website Friday, according to the AFP. The Islamic insurgents have accused Nepalis for helping ýUnited States crusader forces to fight Islamý, the AFP said, citing the Islamic website. The news however, has not yet been independently verified. ýA group of heroic mujahedeen (Islamic fighters) managed on the night of August 19-20 to take 12 people affiliated with a Nepali company captive,ý said the statement signed by the military command of the Army of Ansar al-Sunna, according to the AFP. The statement did not say where the 12 were abducted but the group promised to publish their pictures shortly ýso that they will serve as a lesson to othersý, it is reported. Meanwhile, government officials in the Nepali capital, Kathmandu, have said they don't have information about the said abduction. The US had requested Nepal government to send its troops to Iraq for peacekeeping purposes but the government has not yet accepted the request. From NepalNews.com

That's because they are Nepalese. US doesn't give a damn about nepali's life. And also, Nepal has not sent its precious troops to IRAQ although USA desperately needs them and repeatedly asking Nepal to send. While Baburam/Prachanda successfully sent 10,000+ nepalese to Heaven or Hell, 12 lives of Nepalese in IRAQ do not even perhaps count. Yes, we have reached the bottom!!! Accept it.

I hope they get released soon, unhurt, if infact they have been taken hostage. The government should work something out with negotiations or with the immediate removal of the company that works in Iraq, and to meet the demands before they get murdered mercilessly by this self proclaimed "freedom fighters". I also hope that our government follows the footsteps of what the Philippines did in withdrawing its troops immediately without even caring for the economic sactions by the crusaders, which has fumed the muslim populations with its pre-emptive strikes that lack any backing substance as to why they took steps in destabilizing Iraq, bombing anywhere they like, risking the lives of millions of innocent people, some being beheaded ruthlessly. US has failed, not only for the first time, in being a beacon of hope for freedom and liberty, once again, around the world. Lets hope that our Nepali brethrens will be released as soon as possible.
