My gf recently made a comment about me not being very romantic, so now I suddenly feel a need to make up for this. Any ideas? I've been thinking of cooking something fancy & then serving it with a nicely decorated table, candles & all that. I hate stupid mushiness ("ooh it's our six month anniversary," gag me) but I'd like to do something "classy" romantic....

Unknown KT, how do you know for so sure that she'll love flowers? You mean, you would love the flowers if babaal offered them to you instead of his gf?

sit out under the stars great idea.If you don't wanna go out. In a toy store you can buy a package of glow-in-the-dark star& moon stickers.Move all the furniture out of living room and decorated your celling with glow in the dark stars and moon.yep and cooking something fancy & then serving it with a nicely decorated table. As UNKNOWNKT said don't forget the flowers. she will love it. jpt you sound like married man. All grls love flowers.

When my girl came back after staying 3 days with her relatives, all I did was this: I went to Walmart, bought a 99 cents pack of water balloons, aired them all. There were about 40-50 of them. They were not too big.I tied them all together in a string.Wrote so many "lovely" things on them and put them right inside the front door where she could see them when she enter the house. She was extremely happy to find so many decorated balloons. She still has them all (most of them flat now).I spent 99 cents all together. Do anything crazy, make it sudden. She will love it. DP.

call me an unromantic, but I categorically refuse to write sappy and mushy stuff on balloons. Thats just wrong!

Take the woman to a quiet [yes, sannaataa, total sannaataa], beautiful [and I mean, real beautiful - something rivaling Niagara Falls or the Taj Mahal] setting at the middle of the night, gaze at the stars in the open sky, and serenade her with the following lines: "Aao tujhe chaand pe lejaaye, pyaar bhare sapne sajaaye chhota saa bangala banaaye ek nayi duniyaan basaaye." It just might be romantic enough for the woman, depending upon her RQ (romance quotient). Actually, I got hell of a lot of novel romantic ideas but ain't spilling them here, coz I'll need them to be still fresh when I embark on a taruni-wooing mission in war-scale 4-5 years down the line, re kyaa! :)
