Aba yo sabai kura haru maile disclose gareko chu. So, I was wondering how this is going to affect the interview process. Has anybody been in this situation before? It’s not about selling alcohol but working w/o authorization may have some negative impacts.

Get a lawyer. Atleast go for a consult. You need a lawyer in this case. Like someone said, it’s not the selling of beer, but working on F1 Visa , which is NO- NO. I-485 guidelines tell not breaking any rules if previous Visa- since you decide to discloses crime more than 10 years or they could have tracked down anyways. If the rest of paperwork looked legit, then no issues. You can always take a lawyer for an interview

Usle sabai disclose garisakyo. USCIS knows that he sold beer. I say be "honest" about it.
Free_nirvana, mero pani similar case thiyo. Especially they know about this, they will ask about it - highly likely. Euta story already fix garera liyera jau interview ma. Ma bhako vaye - mero saathi lie substitute gareko thiye for few hours or for a day and I made a stupid mistake type story. Since, it's 10yrs ago and a minor offense it's not a big problem.

@managale, Rockb - Thank you for your input @s007 - Thanks for suggestions. I hope you did get GC after the interview. How tough was the interview? What else did they ask related to that incident? Did they ask for any supporting documents or RFE? Could you please share more details. Thanks My interview is not scheduled yet. I am just taking precautions/getting prepared earlier. Yes, I do plan to take lawyer.

@free_nirvana, Yes, I got the GC. Interview was pretty straight forward. They'll ask you all of the I-485 questions, so make sure to know the answers. I had all the court documents and everything related already submitted beforehand. I realize it now - you can tailor your story depending on whether you worked in cash or used social. If in cash, make up a once-off story. If social, I don't know how you would frame it other than being honest and use advice from the lawyer.
