https://www.nationaltpsalliance.org/bhattarai-lawsuit/bhattarai-faqs/ This is one of the best resources for TPS in Nepal. The fact is TPS is hanging by a thread. It is terminated but its on hold due to an ongoing lawsuit. Even if Govt loses this lawsuit, they can terminate TPS very next day but they have to give at least 12 months transition period. If govt wins this lawsuit they will give total 180 days transition period. or appeal will go to supreme court, which can take upto 2 years for decision. So, you can say TPS will end eventually but nobody knows when.

Its guaranteed until march 24 2020. Aug 14 is a hearing day for Bhattarai/Ramos vs Nielsen. It may take Days or weeks or even months for Appeal court to decide if the preliminary injunction is still valid. If they uphold the injunction Nepal get another 9 months of auto-extension until the 9th court decide the fate of the litigation. It may wind up in Supreme Court too but hope that they will come up with Bi-partisan solution. Kushner immigration plan is dead before the text of the bill comes out but i am counting on Durbin-Graham work behind closed door. But you never know with this Lindsey guy who i think fucked the donkey and Trump knew about it. Lol

I just got AP approved yesterday and I was planning to travel out of country on August 2nd week. And if they have hearing at that time, that will be super risky to travel. So, how strong is your source?

110% reliable. The hearing not going to affect your travel. Hearing is only for preliminary injunction appeal and even if they rule against the injunction, the TPS is still valid until March 24 2020, and the case still will be at 9th circuit and they will hopefully decide in favor of TPS folks. I worst case scenario if 9th circuit rule in favor of Trump admin the TPS will still have earliest termination date of August of next year. The appeal still can be made and it may wind up in Supreme court just like DACA which will be decided by next June.
