if you have master's degree from USA in IT and you are working in the same job category(software developer), then you already secure your green card. Congratulation for green card. :) EB2 GC - with Master's from USA Perm - 5-7 months I-140 - 3-4 months(do premium(premium takes 7-15 days) and concurrent filing) I-485 - 4-6 months trackitt.com that's the best site for getting information.

Jhole_Keto, I am on the same path. Masters in CS from US, then 3+ years of US experience in S/W engineering. My PERM got approved last month and will be filing I-140 pretty soon. It took 5 months to approve. I am not sure about the final job description that they put because they didn't show me the final version. But, I gave them the initial draft. Nothing to worry about JD. The lawyer would be cleaver enough to modify that to match your current job duties. Best of luck uhi_kya

Hello bro haru, Quick question. I have over 2 years of experience in what I am doing in IT. Also, gonna graduate this May. Do I qualify for EB2? I know all these information are available in USCIS's website as well. Was just looking for some real-time scenarios. Dhanyawaad

Johole_keto Guru, Yedi timile advertise garna layeko kam ma experience dekhaune ho bhane, and if that experiece was gained from the same employer that experience can be shown while you were working on OPT, h1b ma gareko experience dekahuna payidaina, unless the new job is 50 % different than what the job under green card will be. Remember this is future employment so you have to apply for a job that your company is willing and able to fulfill in the future when you have that hariyo kagaz. Labor is biggest hassle as it takes a shit load of time, tyespachi chai 485 premium garna milcha, and then i485 ko period ma h1 extened garna milcha. So i would contend that labor pass garnu, or in better words getting approved for labor is the most crucial thing during the whole process. Trackitt is great to ask any questions regarding this. Arko kura if you are in your 5th year of h1b please make sure that you apply for labor a year before h1b expires. Good luck guru it certainly is a marathon not a sprint, and if you apply for labor tomorrow perhaps next year today you will get your green card. Thanks
