Nepali national is a technical issue; whereas, Nepal as the country of origin and Nepali speaker are cultural and sentimental sides and traits. Apples and oranges..culprits are writers and journalists who do not define “Nepali” and create unwanted haze. Objective discussions can demystify many such vague terms and misconceptions.

The other two have Nepali roots but are not Nepali.

Your sentiment is reasonable.  But, you missed the boat.

The point is to examine things if that are matters of public (Nepali nationals and Nepali speaking Nepal lovers) interest.  

The point is to know the actualities to the extent possible. (This thread is not related to any personal matter, nor is against anyone.)

Why..

Many believed Maoists were nationalist even when the later were attacking each and every fabric of Nepal.

People followed Maoists’ nara but failed to notice why they, the Maoists, were pushing for Madheshban, Tamuban kind of highly unsocial, unscientific agenda.

Maoists continued to destruct Nepal even after that, but mostly quietly, under the cover.  

Under the sun, Prachanda and Baburam would hold the rallies and make promises. With nightfall, they would distribute over 2 million citizenship certificate to the nationals of India.

The result is many of the government and assembly belong to Terai, leading to derailment of political process, with no light in sight.

 Prashant Tamang is not a Nepali for the love of god. Neither is Bhaichunt Bhutiya. 

neither is sunil chettri.

 At least Sushil Chhetri's mom is Nepali. She even played in the Nepali National team. 

good to know his mom is nepali, so he can claim citizenship based on his mother's residency card.
