Anyway, I was reading his blog to enjoy one more round of curses/complaint/selfaggrandization of our dear old friend Paramendra, and I was thinking, 'here you go, he is cursing home minister once again'. But no this Sitaula he is cursing is fat and big and I have some drishtidosh, but I wouldn't characterize the homeminister sitaula as big and fat. Finally, looked at the name, and it is not krishna sitaula, but kiran sitaula. Poor man.

Lets add one writer Preeti Koirala too in his hate list. I saw her name too. And of course, the British too as can be understood from his wiki. Whats wrong to say British used to rule India. A British teacher asked if he mised it; and that was enough for him.

About his understanding of racism, I believe reality should bit be mingled with racim/discrimination. Racism is when you dont get a job/ voting rights, civil rights,...etc because of the color of the skin. To call a White a White is NOT racism. To call Pahade a Pahade is not racism. To call Dhoti a dhoti is not racism. Deal with it.

When I use the term dhoti, I am referrign to a state of mind where that mind considers him/herself to be an Indian by heart. And I respect that.

When I used the word "dhoti", I was referring to an Indian state of mind. I would rather die before before using it against my own Madheshi brothers. Im shooting this at people like Paramendra who is a loyal dog to India.

Here, where is "others" and "me". If I consider myself more Indian then a Nepali, then I am also a Dhoti. Im not imposing this on anyone either. How can this be racist. Neither is it a humiliation. If you take it as a racial slur, then im afraid that is true. You are what you think you are.

If an individual personally feels insulted by these words, then comon dude you need a self esteem booster. You suffer from low self esteem about your own identity.

Another example of how pathetic Bhagat really is. Kiran Dai is one of the most respected among SEBSers. Bhagat had been using SEBS directory and other directories of the same nature to spam people and upon receiving innumerbale complaints, they decided to ask Bhagat to back off and shut the F up. But given the Bihari blood that he has, he won't and now all this crap on his blog. A sane mind involved in a sincere movement will never write Fawk the Bahuns in his blog but Bhagat does. I saw him at Nabin Bhattarai's concert in NYC and he was trying to look cool by following Nabin dai everywhere, even holding bags for him and still the cocksawker says Fawk the Bahuns. Should have punched him right there with a force so strong that his mole on that ugly face would pop out of his skull. But as a law-abiding simple man, I didn't. That might very well change if i see him in Nepal though, the land of lawlessness.

I speak my mind and respect free speech. Paramendra brags too much about free speech but cannot tolerate any ideas that dont meet his. And if that happens to be a Bahun, or Pahadi, or Chettri; he loses his sanity. One can sense his inferiority complex when he faces one of these groups. Have you guys ever tried to see how he trembles when he talks about the above mentioned groups? I have.

Though I am NOT a member of this 'exclusive group' (aka Nepal Democracy Group, which Paramendra hilariously dubs something like 'Nepali Senators in Exile!'), I am happy to note that there appear to be some sane/calm people within that group who support Paramendra's RIGHT to take risks and rewards for his own words and actions in the name of free speech in a democracy.

That said, having witnessed how those who talk the loudest about democracy show a thoroughly undemocratic mindset in various settings in Nepal, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, I have ZERO faith in those whose ONLY credentials about democracy revolves around shouting loudest about it without doing anything to make it an inclusive political space even for those who hold opposite views.

It's democratic to have vigorous/heated/disagreeable debates; it's not democratic to deny space to one's ideological opponents to have even access to forums where their views are likely to be challenged and scrutinized . . .
