Hello Sajha members, llike I said I'm trying to transfer my college credits from Nepal into the US university. Since US universities only accept the transcripts directly mailed from the university we had earned our degree from; does TU provide this facility i.e. mailing our transcripts to the requested university? How did you manage to transfer your credits from Nepal if you have already done so, can anybody shed light on this issue? Your valuable suggestion would be highly appreciated. BTW, I'm trying to go back to University to complete my undergraduate degree in Engineering.

Soltee, There are different organizations that do your TU transcript evaluation in the US acceptable to most universities. One of them is wes. Go to wes.org and you will find what you are looking for. Before proceeding, ask your prospective university if they accept your credentials evaluated by wes? And also ask if they need the detailed evaluation. It is better to do the detailed evaluation because it not only provides information on what equivalent classes you completed but also on the topics you studied and the grade you achieved. It costs you more indeed. Now TU offers official transcript sealed which you can ask your family member to get it and mail it to you and you can forward that to wes.

Soaltee!! First thing you need to do is ask your concerned University about what kind of evaluation they accept. For example, The type of evaluation that university accept varies from University to University. So, first thing you need to do is ask your university, what kind of evaluation report they prefer, since there are my credit evaluator in US. Once you get that information, contact the evaluator directly and figure out what they would need for specific kind of evaluation as stated by university. Gladly, they will say what you are going to need. As far as i know, they don't want your sealed transcript from TU. You can go to international office at your present school and then attest it and send them through and it will be sufficient. Any more questions, gladly reply you back
