Amrikane very well said! That is the main issue that people need to understand. Lot of people are blindly against the King, but what they need to understand is that during Kings rule there were countable people who were sucking Nepal dry, and now there are uncountable people sucking Nepal dry.

Politics is always about choosing the better of the worse and in this case it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who is the less worse option.

If he is the son of Nepal, then lets hope in future he fights for the injustice that is destroying our country. Let us see him fighting for the corruption, violence and inequality. Well from the days in past to the present, there is lot industralization, communication, economy, nuclear weapons, tanks and global power. Even now most people around the globe might not know Nepal is country if there was not highest mountain or Buddha. Opinion Divided: Nepal Maoist suspect Paras episode may have India links

Opinion seems to have been unexpectedly divided among the population over the detention of former crown prince Paras Shah by Nepal’s security agencies on charges of pointing pistol at the son-in-law of Deputy Prime Minister Sujata Koirala.

While the Nepali Congress party leaders have been demanding penalizing the culprit according to the laws of the land, the Maoists, on the other hand, have unexpectedly extended their support in favor of the former crown prince.

Grand polarization which speaks so many things unspoken.

Ruwel Chaudhary, a Bangladeshi national is married to Sujata’s daughter-Melina Koirala-Chaudhary.

“There are other strings attached to this incident, in the manner the issue has been ballooned makes it abundantly clear that the occurrence may not have happened at all”, said politburo member Kul Prasad K.C. of Unified Maoists Party talking to one of the national dailies.

“India may be involved in the matter in some way or the other”, he said and added, “The issue is being flared as per the Indian grand design.”

The Indian factor enters into the scene.

“If a debate would have erupted between Paras Shah and Sujata’s son-in-law over the issue of nationalism then Ruwel Chaudhary must also be interrogated”, he demanded.

“The incident took place on Saturday, why it is being flared up now”, he questioned.

Valid question.

Similarly, Chitwan Maoists’ in-charge Anil Sharma opines that “if the issue is linked to our nationalism then the case is more important than even a person would have been killed”.

Spokesperson Dinanath Sharma of the Maoists party says that this issue has been blown out of proportion in order to keep other important issues shadowed.

In the meantime, at around 12:00 noon security personnel, Nepal Police Force, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army, had surrounded Fulbari Resort in Pokhara where Paras was residing.

Four hours after handing over the arrest order, the police had escorted the former crown prince to Chitwan district where the incident had taken place Saturday, December 11, 2010.

After going through the arrest order, former crown prince Paras cooperated with the police officials and asked, “What do I have to do now”.

He was not at all in a disturbed mood, claim those who witnessed the scene.

He was later airlifted to Chitwan in a Helicopter.

Before heading to Chitwan, Paras talked to his personal legal advisors.

Currently, Paras Shah is detained at the Police Training Center in Chitwan.

Interestingly, when Paras Shah was provided a room at the Guest House of the Police Training Center in Chitwan , the former Royal said, “The room is too dirty. How can I sleep here?”

After his repeated requests the police took him to an undisclosed location.

National politics has now centered on Paras Shah.
