You can find a bunch of them online, all differ significantly and there is no universal way to write a successful admission essay. Following someone else's essay will not be of much help. The first thing to do is to convience yourself that you deserve to be in the grad school of your choice. Write bullet points on why you should be admitted and what qualities will you bring to the department. This is going to be your selling point and the essence of your essay, once you have these barebones then only explore how other people have articulated similar selling points and before you know you will have a wonderful admission essay. Hope it helps.

Be very specific as to why you want to join certain lab or certain professor. Write about your publications or any abstracts if you have. Again I personally think it is useless to write about the techniques that you know like PCR and stuff. But if you have publication, write about it and under whom did you work for it. Where did the fundings come from? Your future directions and how your graduate study will favor that. Try to follow specific pattern, you will find the essay pattern online and fit in these details inside the essays. Good luck.

The above suggestions are good but your essay will depend on what the question is asking you. If it is asking you to write about someone who has influenced you the most, you can't follow the above format. So post your question first.

Hi! I think this format will make your search and job easy. The essay should state concisely: - Why you are interested in pursuing a graduate education.
- Your characteristics (strengths, qualities, philosophies, style).
- Your training and how your unique background encouraged and guided you to pursue your goals.
- What you hope to accomplish through graduate training.
- What you think you can contribute to the program.
It is important to try to show that you are mature, willing to accept responsibility and are a team player. This can be demonstrated by including the following: - Held a position as a class officer.
- Participated in an activity that required teamwork.
- Held a position for a reasonably long period of time.
- Undertook a project that required a long term commitment.
MOST IMPORTANT: Read instructions carefully- some programs have special requirements. Make inquiries to see if the programs you are interested in have special requirements that you must address. After you have written the essay, check for grammatical, typographical and spelling errors. Have someone read it over for content, readability and how well it flows from one idea to another. Good luck for your future Gucci

Simple, answer these questions 1. How you developed interest in the field? 2. What works did u do that stimulated or increased your interests? 3. In future what are the areas that you would like to explore and why? 4. What are you going to do with the degree that you are aiming for? Its good to write how your education and career path have been influenced by your interests in the particular field. Just make sure you are supporting your claims by the work you have done. Cheers!
