I am tired of all the negative comments and leg pulling all the time. Although I strongly dislike Violence but maoist led government has brought some important changes through new constitution.

So far the new constitution has brought some major improvements such as strict gun law rules, strict rules and punishment for human trafficking (prostitution), better law and punishment against cast disparity, false belief/witch craft, and decentralization of authoritative power in government bodies along with equal participation from all sectors of society including indigenous groups. They are also working on changing transportation ACT 1990 in which the vehicle driver has to bear all the cost if a person get injured during accident but can get away with only 17000 rupees if the victim dies (so driver prefer to back the vehicle and kill the victim). In fact, there are so many improvements that are difficult to describe in this thread. Its surprising to know how the previous governments had never even thought about bringing these key issues into practice.

and yeah there are equally or even more _ve things done by Maoist. But let them rule for atleast few years lets not try to pull leg all the time (like Girija babu). Even if we have to crticize lets atleast try to see out of the box(see both +ve and -ve) rather than always being -ve or spitting venom. it will take some time to implement the changes into practice  and there are people who try to take advantage of transition period. .  lets  focus on  making  our country  prosper rather than always spreading hatred, criticizing and pulling leg.

I am not a maoist supporter. my entire family and myself support "NEPAL MAJDUR KISAN PARTY" and i am a chettri from bhaktapur. I only want my country and people to grow and prosper.

I didn't know that they have implemented the new gun control law in nepal. I think that is sad.
every citizen in Nepal should have the right to defend himself / herself, and for the the right to bear arms is important.
I wish the maoist governemnt rethink their stance in gun control and repel the gun control law.
