And it is certainly not the first time Nepalese "buddhijiwi yuva janashakti" have protested against anti-democratic movements in Pakistan. Flashback to 2036 saal when I was just in the second grade, Nepalese student groups (I don't remember whether it was the Akhil or Ne-Bi-Sa) protested the military coup by General Zia Ul Haq leading to lathicharge by our baton-happy police force that ultimately resulted in "Chattis Saal Ko Andolan". Maybe we will see new "Jana Andolan" all over again.

Nepal's current situation is not cause of Nepali political parties or Maoist. It is due to Gadha Jasto Janata itself.

Read your comments on this thread and i must say it is very impressive to see how we the new generation think about it. But the sad part of it is, most of us who do realize it are abroad and most probably don't plan to return back. I don't tell people to return back either because everyone has his/her opinion on how to move along in life and i believe that its the foreign land and culture that makes us more responsible and think about what is right and wrong. Seriously, we all work for our study and living here so each and everything that can affect our daily life has meaning to us and we care about it. We just don't go and poke our noses in other person's job if it doesn't even relate to us.
I wonder when our people back in Nepal will realize the fact that protesting for the deeds of someone else which doesn't even bother you is f***ing stupid and the worst that it can do is degrade your own national properties and forces.

IMO this is because of the fact that majority of the population is unemployed. They are so frustrated with our own government and have nothing productive to do which leads to the participation in unnecessary protests. Now it has been a part of the Nepalese culture to be involved in such activities. I would not blame the people, it is the corrupt and power hungry government who needs a nice ass whip.

Puntedai , the scapegoat is not unemployment.... employment bhaneko tah create garneh ho...... it is not granted to anyone by nature. If u see China now, see it has so big population and still it is able to gain market in US.... so much that; you see everywhere chinese products even in US. it is the people themselves who are to be blamed... and more of uneducated ones, the educated ones seem to deserve more blame.... and above that, does this guy who can afford to wear tie to go for protest seem to be unemployed ???

Sangfroid, and who do you think should be responsible for creating jobs? Is it the guy who can afford to wear the tie or the Nepalese government?
