I've been following argentina all the time, they aren't good enough to make it to the finals. The team to watch this time will definitely be Mexico....all young and great deal of passion....they will give some tough time to big teams.....

I would say Rio Ferdinand must improve to partner Terry. He is being too lazy in defense these days, but he mught be pulled to Center of the midfield to be replaced by Cambell. Rooney & Owen will make a fantastic pair up front. Lampard will strengthen the attack and Gerrard will help the defense. So it is solid midfield. Gary & Beckham can deliver good passes & both cole are solid on counter attack. This is an awesome team.

Tell me brother whom did u see better than cole in Engalnd. I don't think U have seen joe cole play. I hate chelsea but I like to watch this guy coz he is the player that scores winner in many matches while playing from midfield. I rate him better than scott parker. I have watched this guy since his debut in West Ham.

Rum, I wish England wins but I know they wont. What I am saying is not backed by logic but by my own instinct :)

I think, with the firepower of Holland, they should be one of the favorites to clinch the trophy.I think they have a great squad with natural talents like Robben, Rafael Van Der Vaart, Wesley Sneijder, Van the man Nistelrooy, and with Captain Philip Cocu leading the team, they are an impressive unit with memories of Rinus Michels squad in the 70's under great Johan Cryuff and Johan Niskeens.

90's had a presence of International stars like Gullit, Van Basten (who in my opinion is one of the most lethal strikers ever to be born), Riijkard, Koeman and Dutch side were clear favorities only to be halted by the eventual champions. There hopes were winning the 98 trophy was dismantled by the eventual champions again loosing in tie breaks which is I think has never been dutch's strong quality.

But looks like the Van Basten effect has rejuvenated the Oranje boys once more as the likes of an impressive Czech team were looking for shelters when Oranje played against them in the qualifying at the arena in Amsterdam. They have blasted 10 impressive wins and only two draws to secure there place in Germany.

But Van Basten will need an extra special performance coming from his team and somebody needs to stand up and deliver a Johan Cryuff 70s if the Dutch team are going to win the trophy.
