Thats how women are. They get offended if they get rejected. They fantasize relationship and if their fantasy turns different turn then they act like the whole world has collapsed. I've been in that situation and I'm sure most of the guys. If the guy get rejected they'll move on by saying "what a bitch", but if a women get rejected they hold resentment for rest of their life. Life is too short to have so much anger inside you(you end up losing-Renuka lost a week of studies and a good friendship).

My whole point is on this line which you crafted so well on the middle of the story. I still wonder those frienships which are hard to comprehend. I have been those situations- am I just a friend, more than a friend, can I admit now that we are boy-girl friends, and on the midst of it come this third person- (may be giving yellow signal)???
