Hi i need urgent help regarding reinstatemnet process. Let me put my timeline i was on F1 till Aug 15 as soon as my TPS approved i started working as a data analyst and give up my f1 status . End of august it will be complete one year and i saved enough to go back to school for my grad school previously i was accepted in good school for phd but now i am just thinking of joining grad school. My project is ending in next two weeks and i have no idea where should i move . Is it possible to reinstate back to f1 if somebody have done it please help me. People with knowledge who knows how this works i contacted some lawyers thwy dont have answer .currently i dont know if tps is extended or not i just want to go back to school and finish my studies. Please people in same situation suggest me something.

Why don't you wait until we get confirmation that tps will be extended and then join grad school. You dont have to go back to f1 to go to school.

Your reinstatement will definitely be approved if you want to go to f1.Don't worry.I have seen people who got approved after 1 and 1/2 year out of status...

Thanks for reply . I was in touch with my previous DSO but they are unaware of the issue . They say there is 5 months period for reinstatement. I am not sure which way to go.
