I mean as a Nepali.
And still some of our actions/discussions lead to accidents like death of four innocent civilians caused by riots led by many Nepali on the topic of non existing comment from an Indian movie actor. Is our existence just limited to senseless arguments on rumors ? We can not protect a single Nepali abroad, or even at home. What are the ways we can ever be functional, at any thing ? As sad as it sounds: besides choosing the best National symbols & a flag, we have nothing to show for our functioning as a group, a nation.

The worst we have is our caste system. We are always trying to prove that we are better. Not by showing any accomplishment but rather by killing anyone who disagrees.
In our country we are much divided people. When we are abroad we get united to dance and have khasi ko masu and momo. We lack a patriotic leader, Our leaders are more interested in getting money and chair. They will sell and rape Nepal to achieve that. Our leaders are bowing down to indians, chinese, foreigners. So how can we get respect?.
Our government needs balls so that the world will take it seriously. I do not support Ahmedinejad but he does have guts. A leader must have guts like him.

Generalizing much? We're not alone! Indians hate each other. In fact, they've killed each other based on religion! Ask a South Indian guy about his opinion about Northeners. Do the same with a Sikh about non-sikhs.
We tend to be tardy and egoistic but this applies to citizens of various countries in the world.
We also tend to be the nicest ones - not just to the nearest and dearest ones but to strangers, too.

Speaking of tardiness, we were scheduled to play a friendly match against Bhutanese in Portland, OR (when I lived there). Our team showed up 15-min late. They were late by an hour and 15 mins!

True others have similar problems but personally i see that their government represents them in a much better way than ours. When indians were bullied or killed in Australia, even they were random incidents, indian government made it a big issues and it made international headlines. There were tv discussions about it also in australian media.
But Nepalese government in similar situation would not dare to approach it in an aggresive way like that. The respect we as Nepalese get is only as much as the respect our country gets internationally. Our leaders act like international puppets. Surely that would need to change. Nobody loves a weak country.
Many of us who are in USA have good job and good social standing but this is not true for all of us. Many Nepalese have to suffer the consequences of being the citizen of a weak country. This is especially true for people who go middle east, malaysia, etc to work.
