hello bhum,
I know you want to do your masters but the 2 yrs bachelor what u had doen't even count even an associate degree here in USA.
in American education system , course are divided in different level, such as 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 and 600
in 100 and 200 level course, you do basic course which all major has to do and you get assicate degree after you complete all the required course of 100 and 200 level in which all major have very similar classess.
in 300 and 400 level course , you do you professional courses where different major have to take core classess according to their major and after you finish 300 and 400 level , they call undergradate
in 500 and 600 level course, you do extreme core professional course and that is called Masters, so when you go for master, university make sure that u have all 100, 200, 300, and 400 level course are done. even if you had three years bachelor, they could have made you take some required classes and kept you in Pre-Masters.
But in your case, you have 2 yrs bachelor degree, off course you can do credit evaluation from world education service (WES). i dought if you get enought credit.
Can you tell me what are the classes you have taken while you were in undergraduate of 2 yrs in nepal. i can tell if those classes can be transfered or not?
In general, for course by course evaluation, you will need to pay 150 dollor, but some classes which are nepal base , they don't get transfer such as any subject related to nepal, like economic development of nepal or nepali parichaya or political science, nepali religion.
But couse like micro economics, macro ecomonics, business management, general communication, any math subject will be transferred. but i have already mentioned you, any science and math class which you have taken before certain years ago do not get transffered.
In American education system in 100 and 200 level, you have to take 6 credit hour of english 101 and 102 and 6 credit hour of lit 1 and lit 2. and 12 credit of behavioral science which included physology, socialogy, Art, Music, speech, and 6 credit of mic and mac economics. 8 credit of any science including lab. and rest what helps you to do you professional courses.
So i dought you have done all these classes at nepal. coz nepal's education system do not provide any of these classess. so after that just forget about thinking of 300 and 400 level.
for if you can give me hint what classes you have taken in your 2 yrs undergrad, i can give you hint if those classes will get transffered or not and if they can be transferred then you may process for credit evaluation and decided what you wana study.
Thanks
