Look for the easy way out and end up regretting with a job that will not even consist of an iota of what you learnt during the MS program...Unless of course you plan to go back to Nepal and get a job in your field (thanks to the nepotism there).

Sanjeevnep,
I will give you a good news. Some TOP TIER schools for Electrial Engineering DONOT REQUIRE GRE, but to get admission can be tracky in these schools. You need to have good GPA in your undergrad, good statement of purpose, work experience, and good recommandation letters. But you don't need to have GRE. I can tell you one very good school.. email me:)

Going to a good university certainly helps to further one's career. But university is just a university. A tool that you make use of in your life's journey.

Better the tool, harder it is to get, easier to get things done with it... or so goes the logic. But it also matters what you do with that tool.

You could get yourself a Craftsman Power Tool and do nothing but screw some nails in. Or you could get a run-of-the-mill screw-driver and accomplish the same thing and much more.

So, I guess, intention, ambition, dilligence, drive are the qualities more important than the tool itself.
