Does anyone know about good grad schools in and around San Francisco? I tried usnews.com but i have to pay to look at their rankings, i'm too broke right now. My field of study would be social science/ public affairs of some sort.Any good suggestions very much appreciated.

UC Berkeley's School of Public Policy is one of the best in the country if not the best. If you are an international student their fees are competitive compared to private schools of equal caliber. Issues on Social justice and student activism was conceived at Berkeley and its well known.

Sorry, I can't say much for the Standardford Junior Community College across the bay (I'd be biased if I did).
