I have always silently read political discussions in sajha. I am not that much interested in politics but wish that Nepal is peaceful but the current agitation is doing just the opposite. What are the political parties trying to do by this demonstrations? It is only making the lives of ordinary citizens more difficult in already harsh conditions. The political parties should immidiately give up their friendship with Maoists to end this crisis. I dont think Gyane will worried about this kind of childish demonstration which is more in newspaper than in real life. If the parties have to protest , they can protest peacefully but first they should cut their friendship with Maoists. Otherwise, people like wil not support them.

Are you in ktm? you're saying this demo as more in papers than in real. Ordinary people're really suffering and this crisis has to be ended soon.

Yes i am in kathmandu now. I will be here for another 3 weeks. Even though demonstration is not causing that much problem, uncertainty still exist and everything is being expensive. This is making lives harder for especially low-income families. Some things would be cheaper in US than here.

Dear all, my impression is that supporters of demonstrating political parties do not tolerate others' views at all. They don't tolerate anything, even a suggestion about ongoing demonstrations. There is no question, we need democracy, stability and prosperity. But at what costs? Should political parties force people to close their businesses? Do they have right to prevent others movement? Its ridiculious these so called democratice parties are demanding democracy by supressing people's very basic rights. These corrupt parties are not fighting for democracy, they are fighting for power.

Santosgiri! That's not going to work. The main root of the cause is the "the absolute monarchy".I urge to all the royalists to think why we should spend so much power and resources in one person. The king has Army and power so he is killing Nepali Janata like nothing.Time has come for al us to realize different Nepal and work for it.I Know, transition will be difficult.Tara Rmaro kam ko suruwat garna garho huncha ni hanara.Lets here some voice for New Nepal. Long live Himalaya Republic of Nepal.
