Yeah you can rewuest your relatives to forward the mail to your canadian address.

When you buy from ebay, you have to review the feedback of the seller.
if s/he has good feedback, good to go ahead and buy from him/her.
if s/he has no feedback from buyer, never buy from them. you might end up loosing your money or getting the item not as described.

ebay is just an auction site. you don't deal with ebay. if deal with individual sellers.

i buy from ebay all the time, few of them sent the item little different than described, i had to bargain them to get the partial for that.

one of the dude never shipped the item, then i had to claim with paypal and got refund.

ya but how am i gonna buy one of the minis.. any source you know of.. ?

try your college/university's site (if you are a student), they will have some discount rates for their students, staffs, faculties etc- or else if you are working then may be your company might have some sort of busines deal with those ipod-dell-hp etc and in that case you will have a discount on those items.
