So if India invades Nepal are Nepali people going to be called Indian or are they still going to be called Nepali.

Few years ago, there was a program casted by BBC putting forth the question, "why there is such a tiny country like Nepal to exist neighboring India and why not it should be annexed?" and after strong protest of Nepalese media and people, BBC had to publicly apologize. Why do you put forth such a question that dims our Sovereignty? Our country is our mother and we can not think of another man taking away our mother.

If you are really worried about our identity of being Nepali, why do we crave for green cards and US citizenship? At this point, what's wrong to be called Indians as in both the cases we loose our Nepalese citizenship?

I dont think India is that stupid and foolish who take a country like nepal , where is neither Rules/ regulation nor any infrastracture .

Oyeeeeeeeee Bhadur kina why so much kich kichhhhhhhhhhh. Just remain the bahadur you are with doing the gate keepers job. It is in the genes of bahadur to be a good gate keeper i.e. chowki dari in dhoti land or in US oh they have a uniform too and are labelled as security gaurds..

I agree with sigdel. India is not stupid to even think of taking Nepal by force. In the 21st century with all free press and human right organization invading other country is ruled out completely, i think.

Btw to all, india is not only dhoti. Same as Nepal is not only "chawkidars". I really hate peoples who stereotype whole country or community by looking at some persons only. I studies in India and there sure are many things Nepal should learn from India.

I don care about godamm black ass dhoties, heres what I know, india will all be flooded if we go back to nepal and pee in the indian boarder; so now, there aint nth these bihari log can do abt.

If India invades Nepal, that will open many doors for the future of the people who are living in Nepal.But India does not like to invade. The main advantages are as follows:
1) We will be free from the slavity of Girija Hawaldar and Gyane.Instead we will get Intelligent prime minister Manmohan Singh, bajpyei.
2)Our country will be bigger.We will have more opportunities then. We will not have to confine ourselves in the narrow land of Mechi to Kali.Instead we will have the land from Kashmir to madras.
3)The population of Kathmandu will be decreased drastically because instead of coming to Kathmandu for higher education people will go to Delhi, Mumbai. That is why the local people of Kathmandu will be affected the most.
4)the economic growth rate will be higher than at present.
4) All the political instability will be finished. As the cultural and religious matters of Nepali and Indians are similar , it will not make any difference for the Nepali people. But If China invades Nepal that will lead many difficulties.
6)My home town, Biratanagar is about 5 kilometers from India.Biratanagar is like India even today. Therefore In biratanagar there will be no impact except that The jogbuni Bhansar will be removed from there.
In Birjung and Janakpur the effect will be null.
Of course we will be called Nepali Indian even then because Nepali is racial terms in the same way some people in India are Bengali, Punjabi etc. But The madhise of Birjung will not be called Nepali because he will have nothing common to Nepali Indian. He will be called Bhojpuri Indian or mathili Indian instead of Bhojpuri Nepali or Maithili nepali.
Its not bad Idea to merge Nepal into India if India agrees if we want to head towards progress.. But if you want to be Nepali only(Khokro Adarsh) it may not be good idea.

I don't think India will take Nepal for one reason. आफ्नै देशमा daily चक्का-जाम, नेपाल बन्द, सरकार बदली गरेर देशलाई धुस्न बनाउनेले अर्काको देशलाई झन् त के गर्लान ? भालुको कम्पारो हुन्छ भारत लाई -- they will be like "अबे साला, तेरी जात का, खाया पिया कुछ नहि, गिलास तोडा बारह-आना" eh. Indias race to become global superpower will be decelerated by at least 30 years. eh.
