Girija prasad koirala, the one and only true leader of Nepal in current time, has been reelected as Party President of Nepali Congress. He is true leader of Nepal because he fought against the Rana and fought agianst the panchyt and now fighting for democracy. he is truly a visionery leader.

even thogh he is 83 year old, he got 85% of the vote. In this time when Nepal is going through lot of violence and turmoil, I think Girija Prasad Koirala is the only chance of putting the country in the right track. He should be made primeminister. If he is primeminister, he can solve the all problems in no time as he has lots of experience in politics.

Let us all join force to make him Primeminister.

He certainly deserves the congratulations! His overwhelming victory over Narahari Acharya gives the message that the Nepali Congress rejects the idea of Republicanism. Narahari's position in election is pathetic.

However, I have strong doubt that whether this old man would be able to solve the problem of country. He already got three chances and all he did was pushed the country in to gratest disaster of the history. It is he who devided NC in different KHEMA. Chhatise and Chhauhattare with KP Bhattarai and then NC party itself broken with Deuba. If he can't manage his own party, how can we believe that he will effectively govern the country? Maoist problem also escalated during his time. Nepal's Supreme Court also manupulated because of him with the coopration from Bishwanath. He destroyed almost all corporations and RNAC financially collapsed due to his adventure. The only achievement during his era was he looked after well his nearest and dearest and kicked out those who had different BICHARDHARA. He is better when he is not in power. Let him be a party president, Nepalese people don't want further disaster by making him PM again.

GPK's landslide vicory is due to, among other things, his BOWING DOWN to republicanism.

GPK was REWARDED for his adjustment with the idea of REBULICANISM.

Narahari was NOT REWARDED for his too short a history (one week for God's sake !) of coming forward for the leadership on one hand and a mass sense of DUTY to REWARD Koirala for his hard adjustment with REPUBLICANISM.

Whether Koirala's adjustment with REPUBLICANISM is genuine and lasting or not is a different question. However, REPUBLICANISM won in the NC convention for now.

NC convention thew away the MONARCHY not only form it's VIDHAN but also from minds of the workers !
