Unless and until there is a prominent leader who can lead, all the theories regarding any democratic politics in Nepal are only going to look good on paper and internet.

But my point was, we can not blame the system itself. You see, USA is a federal republic and , France, Germany are all also republic. Now going by the BC's statement, they should cease to be. But it is not so. They are economically thriving nation.

Let us have a look at Canada, Australia and England. They are NOT republic, but has a head of state in the form of a monarch. They as well are economically thriving nations.

Both sets of nation are pioneer in their own right and have a large respect for human rights, equality; at least of the broader spectrum.

Now, in the context of Nepal, we have our own understanding according to the complexities of our understanding. Even then, total rightist and leftist views and ideologies are not what a doctor would recommend. I black ball both extremities.

I was merely stating that there are republic nations that are thriving and leading the world and I am living in one right now, just the way there are nations that are prehistorically headed by monarchies. Nothing more - nothing less. That's that.

I believe in fact, most of (majority) of us are in the same page. Only these so called democrates and die hard royalist blind folded by i-do-not-know-what are making loud noises.

Reading at your posts I think I know what you stand for but I might be wrong. We all know we have problem and we all know it could bring grave consequnces. All they are doing just pointing out the probs. But no solution.

So just asking how will u bring republic in Nepal? Turn into maos or what? Then there is along war head of us. Some genocides. Then UN peacekeepers to watch Gyane and Maos. Lots frens and family lost. Grunge will remain. Bitter division would remain.

Here we go again, bunch of day dreamers. During 90s, Newari in Kathmandu supported leaders thinking they will get equal share of mantri pos or get their voice heard in the govtt. What they got is piece of sh.it. . Like everyone, I too thought, democracy is the asnwer to our future. Instead I saw a hell in my life. I have given up any hopes from leaders. I dont trust anyone. What makes me laugh is people are repeating the same mistakes. We think Constitional assembly or whatever the sh.it is the answer. When we dont realize that we got same ass.h.ole leaders.

I guess we are used to or have been brain washed by our dear leaders to look for a quick fix or try to run away from the problem. So those day dreamers of Republic Nepal or Commi rules, I wish you all the best. We will come back again to discuss this in 2015 looking for another excuse if our country NEPAL still exist by then.
