dont wanna start an argument with you bhattu, but you got your facts wrong ... there was MORE corruption in the 35 ish years of panchayat rule than there has been in 15 years of democracy. Most of US don't know ... coz it was HIS kingdom (wrongly) at that time, and there was NO transparency.

Now lets look at it this way ? Akhtiyar has gathered only abt 15 corore in corruption till now ... and there isn't more than that ... bhattu jee .. just take a look at the yearly salary of the durbar. Please do. And just compare that with the salary when king birendra was there and when the royal family was a LOT bigger. I think when you do that, figures speak louder than words.
