On a respectful note, Chip-of-the-OldBlock's remark that Sitara's allegedly political correctness regarding her views about the Maoists goes as far as annoying him drew my attention.

Although it is futile to make points without elaboration of COTOB's exact annoyance, I thought a mere 'political correctness' would be inexact description of Sitara's stand on the Maoist insurgency. This I am saying believing that I probably have not missed anything from Sitara that COTOB has possibly read.

There is 'political correctness' and there is 'apolitcal correctness'. I think the latter is what would describe Sitara better. She is correct and she is not politically motivated. That is what 'apolitical correctness' is.

COTOB, whose words indicate his high political sensitivity should have not missed to note Sitara's apolitical sense of correctness while taking liberty to broadcast his annoyance.

neparu, thankfully u asked who is sitara not who is karuna chettri, nor i wud have had to much diffuculty in answering ur question. :)

Now, being a sajhatie, its my responsiblity to help my fellow sajhatie to solve his querie abt a sajhaties..so, lets explore our sajhatie Sitara from top to bottom, and left to right...Common guys, Lets go 3-D

1) So, who is Sitara?

I asked the same question to myself when i first logged into sajha. Well it happens, Sitara is a lady, a pretty lady, who writes poems/stories here in sajha, and also knows many many difficult englihs words. The most interesting part about her is, she's a teacher, who loves going to vacation on summer. She is also a praise-able inventor, she invented a PEN here in US. Ooh, and she is also a big big gambler, who has Mastered the art of baiting. Sitara also does some yoga, she says she wants to be like a rubber, which can be streched a lot. Neparu dont worry, you are thinking in a right direction, sitara is definately a all rounder lady.

2) Why arent, sajhaties like confused and Neparu, famous like SItara?
The information I have collected from sajha isnt suprising, most sajhaties happen to be straight males, like myself, who admire chwakk, Proud and Calm women. And Sitara, seems to consist all top 3 quality in her. She is obviously chwakk, we can witness guys going crazy on her and writing such lovely shyari's. She is also proud woman. She is a Proud Sajhatie, who dedicates her writings to the spirit of Sajha! and enjoys the dignity that sajha has crowned on her, thats why she hates topic like, bhedo and Sitara. And at the end, no one can deny sitara is a calm woman, her ground doesnt even shake if she's called, SHIT-TARA, Kalam wali bhai or my darling. She is just calm.

ooh yah, let me add this line too, confused and neparu, arnt famous like sitara because they just dont write good as sitara..simple :)

3) Who loves / hates Sitara, and Who does sitara love/hate.

From Rusty to Oys, From Czar to Nepe, From Kalanki to AX, From myselt to moneyminded, From GP to Gorkhali dogg, From Prem Charo to Parmendra, From San/DP to rest of the sajhaties, everyone has a reason to love and hate sitara and she has her own personal reason to love and hate each one of them. Opps! the word personal is here, that means privacy so lets not go out of sajha and let us just stay inside sajha, so lets move to next question.

4) Does Sitara seek attention?
NO! sitara doesnt seek attention NOW, because she gets attention all the time, and now the question arises, does sitara enjoy getting attention. Oh coomon, dont be so naive now, if she didnt like attention, wud she be answering ur post Neparu? oh coomon, dont be so naive now, if she didt like attention, wud she stick her pic on the web?

5) Why is Sitara still active in sajha?

I do not know that either! PPl like Czar, and Nepe have complained a lot in here and they seem to be very particular on how they choose their thread. Sitara, is diff lady, she hangs out with every sajhaties, atleast SHE TRIESS.... She doesnt seem to center herself on particular issue, she is broad, she likes talking abt Love, Pedro's jokes, Behe, cute ppl, memory lane, politics and Dumb Women. So, yes, she's a intellectual who is very very broad than czar.

6) WHY is confused writing this?

WTF!!!! IF deepak Khadka can write a pome abt sitara, can i not say some things abt sitara. GET LIFE!!!

disclaimer: what i wrote above was just a little paragraph, only my opinion abt a particular individual/s. No privacy of the ppl mentioned above have been hunt down. All of the mentioned things can be acessed publicly. This is just paragraph, that is meant to be humorous. :)

Confused bro, you know we agree on most of the issues, we fail to agree when it comes to be the issue of Sitara. Dude, I dont agree on whatever u said. To be honest with u, I like her a lot even before I saw her photo (dont take it otherwise I have a girl) . tell you what Sitara really is, she is Beautiful (but its not a great deal), she is intelligent, she is logical, she is practical and she is tactful.. i figure out all of her quality from her writing. One thing is she is doesn't consider naive reader like me. . Tara confuse bro she is not ghamandi yaar. It may wonder you , I suppose I am the greastest fan of SITARA in this Sajha. She is a perfect woman I have ever dream about.

She is a beautiful lady with a beautiful mind.She is one of few reasons for many people to visit Sajha.

Sitara lai tariff le marnai lagyoo keta haru le. Hahahaha.. aba ta uthnai garu bhaisakyo hola:p....aba alik besi bhayo bhane sachaikai SITARA hola( I MEAN AKASHMA) haha.

I would not like to comment about her looks ( Since everyone has their own personal opinion. Anyway, like they say, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder) All i would like to add is, perhaps my eyes are a wee bit different from most of the sajhaities posting in this threads. Having said that, I want to second the voices that have praised Sitara on her writings, her tactfulness, and her sense of humour. I agree her writings in sajha has always been somethign to look forward to. (Paramendra ji pani lekhnu bhaye hunthio- after reading "Why i left sajha for good", which is among my personal fav. it would be wonderful to read his next venture. Perhaps. " Why i came by to check Sajha ( One last tyam):p")

And yeah, may the forces of universe always be with you, to protect you and your SITARA, SITARA ji :)

Strange experience I had yesterday when I went to buy a car:
The Honda salesperson, an older African American, genuinely nice a SCI-FI addict/Trekki got me talking about parallel universes which he fervently believed in. He said, "what makes you think "you"(in another parallel universe) did not die in that same split second! I came away with an excellent deal; I promised to give him one of my favorite books: Fingerprints of The Gods by Graham Hancock. It's time the book left the dust on my bookshelf.

One observation of mine about Sajhaites is that, they are forgiving, compassionate and friendly. Sajha has alotted me a refuge where I can interact, banter and make friends regardless of race, caste, creed, sexual orientation, academic degrees and/or status in the real world. I respect such a space. A Utopia, it is not but does Utopia exist... only in the form of a wishful idea like democracy. Yes, I am a skeptic. There are many who do like my writings (yes, I am honored) and there are many who do not, but still take the time to read and react. Regardless, each one has given me food for thought and an appreciation of human interaction. Sajha has been my playing field but more importantly, it has been a learning ground.

As far as attention-seeking /enjoying; I escaped the accident with my humor as well as my ego intact. You see, had I NOT been born a baby with its first wailing/attention seeking cry, I would perhaps be assumed dead and burned alive. Since I howled a protesting, defiant howl with my very first glulp of oxygen, I was pronounced "Normal". Hence, the reason why I speak-- to be heard; why I write--to be read and why I come to sajha-- to read YOU.

Confused has spent a lot of time analyzing and typing who Sitara is. I am flattered; and yes, I would have called up him from the spirit world. :) On Bhedo, one thing I have to say is, he is one of the most well-read people I have met in Sajha. He writes with a flair very few of us can compete with-- and no I am not refering to his prejudices and his colorful language. I still recognize many of his writings and his humor... yes, he is very much active. In defence of CZAR, one has to read him in all of his various forms to understand the figure behind the monitor. Like Moneyminded cannot be stricken off with one stroke of whiteout, neither can CZAR.

As Nepeji correctly interpreted my political or lack thereof stance, I am not politically motivated. And yes, I can be damnably diplomatice in certain thing... that is because I am not interested. However, one question I do ponder up: What is THE defining line between the attrocities of Crown Prince Paras, RNA and the Maoist which gives them the status they now enjoy: as RULER, PROTECTOR and TERRORIST respectively. I believe in the Laws of the Universe, where they apply to all and sundry.

Now, that we (including I) believe, we have sufficiently de-mystified Sitara, shall we move on to livelier subjects? So, who's having a New Year's Party?!!!!!!!!!! :)
