6 million looted from nabil bank tuesday afternoon!assailants robbed one of the service counters at gun point......anyways the assaliants who fled in a taxi have been caught by the police and the amount recovered..............damn this was the last thing one would want to happen!!!!i guess this is just the beginnin of a very disastrous era!!!no one is safe!!!!!!!!!

From what I hear/see, the amount has been recovered but assailant is yet to be captured, though he/they has been identified.

One interesting thing to note is that the management notified the police after a good half an hour after the robbers, who had identified themselves as maoists, had left (see nepalnews.com for details). Also, the robber was allowed to bargainfor 25 minutes under the full knowledge of the management. I think that was a not a bad move at all. at least, it wount let the Maoists harbor any hard feelings against any of the staff. Besides, karodau nafa garne bank lai 6 Million bhaneko ke ho ra :)
