You guys totally misunderstood the points I am making. So lets go to the bottom of the issue. I want to make a point clear to you. I am not interested in what an individual neprican does. What I believe is that this Sajha site is basically to discuss the issues of Nepali Diaspora. so I am raising the issues of Diaspora as such. While searching for Amateur Astro Clubs in the USA through the Net, I got this site. So decided why not discuss some of the issues with you guys. Its totally wrong, therefore to assume that I am jealous of you guys, or the grapes are sour or I failed the DV. I am not a proletarian here in Kathmandu. There is nothing for me to be frustated.

We nepalies have been too small for big things and too big for small things. Thats why our country could not move forward. Thats why our fellow citizens all the time preferred to going abroad. You have seen millions of Lahure Kanchhas have gone to India for Bhanda Majhne Kamko Lagi. So cleaning dishes and restaurants has been our national occupation. Now my friend who recently came from Wisconsin after staying there for five years told me that most nepalies work there in Indian owned restaurants. Great! What a similarity between Lucknow and Wisconsin. This was a great enlightenment for me. And I just wanted to know the reasons. Why the Indian Munim should be the master of the Nepali folk from Lucknow to Wisconsin? Why the Nepali Diaspora is not making progress as Indians or Bangladeshi counterparts? What is the issue here? Being a practitioner of socioligy, I wanted to know this issue.

There are other issues also which need to be discussed, but you have totally ignored or overlooked them. Few years ago Dr Durga pokharel gave an interview in Nepal Magazine here in Kathmandu, and informed us that most nepali girls, who first marry a neprican, later divorce mostly to marry a Bangladeshi Musulte. I just wanted to know, being a 'student' of sociology, what are the factors behind this. Are we nepali men physically inferior than these musultes and that's why nepali women, as soon as they get the opportunity, break the marriage. That means you nepricans and we Original orientals all should be painfully aware about our physical shortcomings and take measures to improve the situation. (Hahahaha..)

My friend also noticed in US that most kids of Nepricans are not straight. Why is this? Is this genetical issues or is it that you guys have totally become moneyminded and dont take care of the children, and as a result these kids dont get proper counselling in due time???

Had you stopped to think for one moment, you would have in your sweeping generalizations on Nepalis abroad, found that citing/believing one source (an aquaintance, friend, if you will) to paint the diaspora with one broad brush reduces your credibility regarding your critical thinking abilities. I would allow you some rope if you had cited a sociological, statistical data supporting your generalizations.

* First, had you lived in USA, you would have a picture of what Nepalis really do out here in the US. Since you blatantly confess, you have not even attempted to visit USA let alone lived here, and ofcourse since you choose to believe your limited sources, I would think your gullibilty far outstretches your imaginations. I am sure, your "friend" is having a field day at your expense. An astro-whatever as you claim to be believing a sensationalist TV interview, my, I dread to imagine what you must be teaching those poor children with your telescope.

* Amazing isn't it that you are unaware there is dignity in labour here. The smart ones, wash dishes, work in gas stations, cook... earn money, go to college and land a big job/earn a living. And then there are others who don't do any of the above menial labor, get a scholarship and finish their degrees. It is not true that Nepali Kanchi haru hoooo, all of them stay in their standard. Kanchi haru hoo, you hate Nepali guys who do hard work to feed their family, my request to you not to errant, It is really hurt to us, if a Nepali girl abuse her character by prostituting with Pakistani or Bangali for getting few dollars. Those mother-Fuqua musalte come to us and asked "do you know that Nepali girl she is my GF, I have done this and that". I have seen some girls they go with them. I don't have any good photos you are talking about. I'll need to cough up another $300-$1000 for that. I did capture the last total lunar eclipse though, I need to upload into my computer from my CCD. The image I captured are not" total", because my CCD did not see faint red moon at all (It was total dark).

Using the telescope I have seen the Saturn and its rings, Gupitor and its satellites, Mars, Venus etc.
