frosted cheerios
frosted strawberry pop tart
breakfast with pakako tea
frosted morning outside my window
i dream of you
from my warm bed

december

a river flows near my house
winding through mankato avenue
washing off the color from the leaves
dirt , pavement, pilgrim's feet,
there's another one
lives next street from me
frozen this time of the year

p.s i could never distinguish between a river and a sea till today ......

under 4 layers of sweatshirts
my body glistened
as if ready for one more sin

the exhaust fan in my bathroom sounds much like the coughing sound of a dying old man in a hospital bed.
