If it is safe in USA than Nepal. I don't worry about this at this time and moment. Even USA will return to Nepal. It might be sold again to other country. I am worry about that.... We need to have proof and true record or evidances of stole.........

It's mentioned about donation from some collector. There are whole bunch of stuffs from Nepal. These are the most popular ones I thaugt and so posted this message. I think I remember reading about stolen Changu Narayan in Kantipur. I do not blame on anybody. But definately, I felt bad when I saw these over there in the musuem. They do not belong there. These belong to Nepal. where they are prayed and celebrated. It is our weakness that the heritage of Nepal is being stolen and are in some musuem in foreign nation. I believe they belong to the original temples where they were supposed to be and not in the musem. Peace

of course we have not done enough to preserve our culture. but that does not mean that it is better to have these things here in America rather than in Nepal. Its just like saying that because i dont have proper security at my home, because i cant keep my things safely at my home, so a thief does not do any wrong if he steals it. Stealing somebody else propertty is always wrong whether owner has the capacity to keep it safe or not

Reply To Rein, I am Nepali and I love my country more than anything else does. Don't forget..... If No Nepal than No Nepali and No idol, too. But something disturbs me deeply thatý if we return that historical precious idol at Nepal, Next thing, maybe some Nepali criminal (1st class officer) might make a another deal with black marketers for next sale. Maybe on next time, this will end at Afganisthan. What you will do? Do you want to deal with MuJahiddin? It is not good idea to bounce back and forth to this historical item like pin-pong ball. It is just to make another opportunity to corrupter and criminals. First, We must make safe and secure our country than we can move on. We can claim, prove and safely bring it back to Nepal at later time.
