Vietnamese - especially (Goi Couin)
Thai - Green Curry Chicken, Fish Cake, Tom Yum soup
Japanese - Shasimi, sea weed salad
Chinese- Dim Sum Brunch
Korean- Seafood soup and bbq
and more

Lets hear yours.

All you guys, Bedrock, and other who seem to be or give an impression of a good chef, can you please advise me a good way to prepare momo. What ingredients should be mixted with the meat and how do we prepare a good achar?

Maha-sakti:

Here is the mother of all ingredients: Make sure you are famished, any kind of momo will taste heavenly!

Maha-Sakti:

Trial and Error is the best way to learn.
Make something in small quantity....taste it....see what's missing....correct your problem....try it again.....after some time you are the best cook out there.

Lady Croft:

Guys and Khasi? Never thought about that before. May be because unmarried guys call each other bokas and Khasi is something exotic for them.
OMG. Ghas Katne scared you???? you must be so young?

Bedrock " opor ayaam " is really delicioius , I am not sure if you can find it in Penang. i have been to Penang, they have shrimp and kankung, which is really good. Next time , try kankung ( green vegetable) and shrimp.

yeah, and also at penang, i forgot the name of the dish, but it is the last item in the thai section of the menu- it's a seafood extravaganza noodle dish and it's the perfect amount of piro!

but, all i want right now is some tato selroti, alu gobi, ra mewaa ko achaar

Damn.....its so far away. I was hoping you were nearby so we all could visit and have dinner together.

Anyway, in the long run the ones who chose their passion as a career will be happier in life. .

I do enjoy cooking every now and then. I have always appreciated those who can cook good. I keep several cook books at home for references.

Snacks I like with drinks- fried prawn/shrimp chips

bedrock bro.......thanks for invitation

Well, next time when u go to nepal or come to asia make a transit to Hong Kong. You can stay in my place........then i will show u my skills and what culinary world is about? Dude my specality is honey roasted duck breast with apple and pear salsa served with Onion carmal..........

This is the most selling food of mine.

If u want to learn to cook easy way watch naked chef ( james oliver)
you are rite about taking passion as career............i mean why in nepal our parents cant see anything rather than doc, engineer, computer, business .....i think u have lot more money in technical field like mine........

apart from that food business is one of the most risking business......you can kill ppl with food if u dont take precuation.
