I thought that it was a coalition that beat the NY team at the ANA convention. No matter whose side fortune favored that day, the fact remains that the so called DC team comprised of star players from Colorado, Baltimore, Florida and other cities that are nowhere near DC.

Ha...get your dentures fixed first oldy! You probably were in the NYC team eons ago which can be proven by your reminiscing playing cards before the game night. A lot has changed my friend. Were you there last year? What about the current year? All I can say is, Man, Fox news would provide a more reliable unbiased coverage than you just did.

Were you there at the game in NJ between the orginal DC team (with the MVP from Baltimore) against NYNYC last year? It was only after we beat them there that they realized that a coalition was necessary. And finally to set things straight, the team this year wasn't called the DC team as it was in the past, but simply "United" (why? scratch your head for an answer)

Sorry guys, but it would be difficult to field a competitive team from Boston to travel to CT this year. Somehow, interest in this sport has waned in Boston this year. A few of us do get together and play every Monday evening, but that is just a FEW of us.

This is only my opinion of course. Maybe, there is someone else out there, who can take a lead.

Also, It appears GBNC is organizing a 5-5 soccer match for players from within Boston during the upcoming BBQ. Perhaps, we could recruit some players from this event.
