Guys,

Each time I read a nepali news or event in USA, I come across a name of  new nepali organisation. I am just wondering - do we really need these many organisations ? Can not we get under one single nepali community group if we all are nepali and the objectives of all these organisations is just to help and support nepali community????

Just curious, how many nepali organisations are active in usa? Let's collect the names.

Not even 1% of them are registered.  Most of the news websites you browse are hungry of news. So, they publish whatever you send using whatever name of any fictional organization.

By membership strength, most likely it's UNN.  heard around 68K.  ANA could be big too.  But most of the ones I know have about 5-10 members.

As far as I know some group this group are based on either political parties or place ! Like in new York there is Ridgehood Nepali samaj re, becoz it's in ridgehood !!

Some of these organizations serve commendable purpose. But most are originated to "belong" to something and establish one's popularity in that group.

When Nepali People within Nepal are not able to stick together United how can you expect We can survive together within one roof and one community abroad . Everyone wants piece of cake and comfortable high reputable fked up life.

1% is an arbritary percentage...most likely it's true, although I don't have any statistical model.
