I am planning on doing my MBA either at George Washington Uni or george Mason. Is there anyone in here who is enrolled in any of these universities and can provide me some insights about their assistanceship programs and the scope of getting it? Thanks !!

As far as GW goes, I am not sure it gives assitantship for MBA program but I heard that you can get assitantship for the PhD, which is very competitive. The best bet is call/email the department/program you are interested in and ask them directrly.

Hard to get assistantship for MBA anywhere. But if you go for PhD, you get buttloads of financial support. So forget MBA and shoot for PhD. Plus in the long haul, you'll be making more money. On the downside, it means you have limited yourself.

Better yet, while you are in the area, why not Georgetown?
