Mediocre team "As you've said" Chicago White Sox won the World Series. I don't know why your sports prediction goes so opposite. As you've said that White Sox is in the bottom of the four teams that went to the Championship. But, see hoe they won the World series. So, i can atleast say that Boston lost to the team that won the Series and not the Mediocre team as you said. But ya team lost to the team that was beaten by White Sox. TIVO comes in handy for things like this; I will check them out when I have time. I did watch unbeatable Oswalt getting hammered in 5th inning(???). I did enjoy listening to the some part of the last 2 games. I find the dynamic duo of Miller and Morgan more engaging than Buck and McCarver.

I think that those still in denial should really get over it. The universal fact is that things are constantly changing, and this year, the Chicago White Sox did prove to be the champions (The sweep of the Boston Red Sox, near sweep of the Angels, sweep of the Astros...what more do you require?). I can understand the feelings of diehard fans of other clubs but, you know what, if you can't trust the World Series to tell you who the best team is, then you probably shouldn't even be watching the Major League.

1. resign Matsui (my hunch is he is not going to play MLB, hope I am wrong on this)
2. Center fielder (hopefully he be able to bat leadoff so DJ can move back to his original batting order at #2)
3. Strengthen the Bullpen ( 1 righty and 1 lefty)

here's my disagreement with non Yankees fans when they talk about the money.... It's not about the money FOOLS.... it's a WILL TO WIN and REWARD YOUR PLAYERS AND STAFF.... BOSS is not the richest owner in Baseball ( he doesn't even come up close to other Billionare owners). He is very competitive person and wants to bring the championship parade every year in Times Square...and he is willing to pay for it. If the gripe was from small market teams like Royals and Devil Rays, I would have understand it but it comes from Red Sox, Angels, Dodgers, Mets and Phillies fans.. which I can't comprehend

--- You are still so naive... Yes there are other teams with rich owners. But there are no teams which gets more perks and more revenues than Yankees. So, you do want to win when all other vendors and other adds are paying you so much so that you win the championship. He is not doing it cause he loves his players but he is doing it cause.. he is getting so much from other Vendors and he want's to keep that money coming. Who would give you so much and gets more revenue if you keep on losing the game??

Anyways, Chicago Sox was a better team than NY Yankees this year PERIOD. And everyone except you says so.
