I am a moderate student; I have just finished my undergraduate and going for MBA. What type of questions do they ask in the US embassy? How should I answer those questions? Should I try to answer smartly in order to impress the counselor? Please help me.

Do not try to be either smart ass or work too hard to impress the counselor. Answer honestly. Counselor is looking to see if you are going to study there or using that opportunity to immigrate.

I applied all together 8 times. 7 times they rejected. Everytime I applied they came with the same file. Gave me the reason that I was not able to show social and economic ties with the place of residence.
I had a sponsor letter from US saying while I am in States I would be an asset to her family. It was a mistake. Pay attention never go to to Embassy with such Sponsor letter.Does not matter you go for study or business or travel or visit.
Finally I got it. The lady at the embassy said I do not know why but you are getting one. Shaked the hands and left. Got the visa. Ever since I am here.
I am happy now that I donot need a visa anymore. Otherwise they would come back with the same file again.

1. Establish Socio and economic ties
2. Have more than adequate financial assets
3. Do a good research on the college u got I-20 for, they ask!!
4. Why would you come back to Nepal? (goes back to question 1).

Some of the stupid things to tell/ask to US Embassy consulers (at VISA interview):

Ask them why the heck anybody would wanna come back to crappy the place again ?
Ask them how many of them have come back (permanently) since their departure ?

Get enrolled in American school in Sao Polo. Study 1 Semester there. Very cheap and very nice place. 2nd Semester you can switch to US without any problem.
NO interview. No questions How and why.
