Former PM Surya Bahadur Thapa collapses

KATHMANDU, March 25 - Former Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa collapsed while attending a dinner program on Thursday night.

Thapa was rushed to Norvic Hospital in Thapathali at around 10:30 pm.

Hospital sources Friday said that Thapa is undergoing medical checkup and is in stable condition. (dds)

Doctors let these leaders die. I think process should continue so that the new and visionary leader will have opportunity for the betterment of nepal.

merely acquring degrees or holding stethescope doent mean he can care well.

Nepali Keto: I have a lot of mercy who don't have enough to eat for the day and struggling hard just to be alive in some part of the Nepal that we might not have imagined to be existed. And more importantly, a public figure like leader is more attached to people. He he wants family, he should quit from such arena. Trying to keep both together results in catastroph like conflict in Nepal. Very strightforwd.

Bikash KC:I probably have a good heart than those leaders. But you know what, these leaders need to go anyway. I know professonal ethics that is attached to each profession, but he cannot contribute a lot when he fix himself with these ethics. What we need now in country. A fresh start. My request is just to start a new epoh and make a life of hundreds and thousands of nepali better. It's Not a culmination of inhumanity in my heart.
